Feed the Animals

Souvenir cup included
General feed $2 each in a souvenir cup that is yours to keep. $1 refills anytime. (Take the cup home and bring it back on your next visit for $1 refill.) Parakeet feed is $2. Birds will fly down and eat from your hand!
Small Animal Presentation

Wildlife Academy

Your animal lover will GO WILD for our Wildlife Academy! Support your child's love for animals by enrolling them in 4 hands-on classes that will teach them about all things animals! Single-session classes are available. These 2 hour courses are available for students in 4th-8th grade.

Interested in a fun evening with the family? Join us for our Canvas and Critters paint night. Have fun creating a masterpiece, but more importantly memories with your loved ones. You will also be introduced to some of our amazing animals.

Birthdays here are truly special and unique. We strive to provide an incredible experience for you and your guest. You are welcome to bring food, gifts, cake, etc. for the first hour. During the second hour, let our knowledgeable wildlife caretakers show you and your guests some of our amazing animal ambassadors. Get close and even hands on with a variety of amazing animals.

Licensed teachers
Typically run 9:30am-1:00pm
Our field trips are enjoyable and educational for daycares, preschools, schools and homeschool groups. Designed to be hands-on and education based with rotating center-based activites. We offer a hands on learning experience with lessons aligned to state standards. Our facilitators are current or former state licensed teachers. The Discovery Center is perfect for your class to learn about exotic animals from around the world.
FTAA Hidden Treasures
Gem Mining
Purchase a bag ($8 per bag) from our gift shop or animal feed station and hit the gem mining sluice to pan for treasure. Each rough bag also comes with a keeper bag, and an identification postcard for you to take home. We have gemstone, arrowhead, fossil and seashell bags available!
Feed Station
The animal concession stand is in, and the goats are ready for you to place an order! You can purchase feed and refills right in our Barnyard Buddy area. ($2.00 per cup)
Party Pavilion
$250 for 20 guests or less. Each additional guest is $10 per person. Parties available year-round. Outdoor exhibits do close in the winter and activity is replaced with an interactive animal presentation.

Jump Pad
A favorite attraction for children and families alike! The Jump Pad offers a safe and exhilarating experience where kids can bounce, leap, and play to their heart's content.

Once purchased we will complete the card in person during your first visit. During this time we will take a picture and print an identification season pass card before you leave.
Zoomie Program
Our mobile zoo consist of trained handlers and educators who accompany the animals and provide information about their habitats, behaviors, and conservation status. The animals can vary widely and may include domesticated animals, exotic species, reptiles, birds, small mammals, and insects. The primary goals of FTAAs' mobile zoo is to raise awareness about wildlife conservation, promote education, and foster a sense of wonder and appreciation for the animal kingdom.
